Yes, very funny (yes, honestly). However, I’m glad I’m retired because I can’t say how I would have reacted to such a bullshit requirement - if keeping my job, and by extension, my home, my health insurance, and (although it absolutely shouldn’t matter) my standing in my communities depended on it.
This isn’t a rant against capitalism, but, let’s face it, if you are a wage slave, you don’t have that many options: freedom of expression and freedom of action are largely theoretical.
Do the MAGAs want the Federal Government to end up exclusively war-economy based, with the Gaza Riviera as the jewel in the crown? Eisenhower must be rolling in his grave. Maybe my state will secede. Tell me what a present day Civil War would look like. I liked your report on the annexation of Canada.

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK (sent to hr@opm.gov):
* Read up on the history of the Third Reich. Spoiler alert - it did not end well.
* Submitted my income tax report. I owe this year. I was saving that money for an electric car. Bottom line: no sale.
* Saw my dentist for a check up. No cavities. Medicare Plus has a good dental plan, so the bill was doable. Hope I get to keep it - and my teeth.
* Bought seeds and fertilizer for a vegetable garden for when the economy tanks this summer on account of Trump’s tariffs.
* Apologized yet again to my friends in Europe. “Ich entschuldige mich noch einmal für unseren Präsidenten.”
Perhaps I should have you write next week’s update. Lol. This was pretty good. lol.
