Trump declared he might run again. Or I suppose, most accurately, he’s not “ruling it out.”
In typical form:
“Many people want…”
“Everyone’s saying…”
“They’re begging me…”
Whatever.
It’s bullshit.
There will be no third term.
I know I wrote about it, and I know people are terrified of it. So, I expect my words to comfort them.
But that’s not the good news you think it is.
Because while everyone’s busy screaming about dictatorship and crowns and forever-Trump, they’re missing the real problem:
He won’t need a third term.
If we’re being honest, we might not even survive the second.
Nobody Likes Trumpanomics
Trump isn’t a “stable genius.” He’s a chaos engine with a microphone.
The market knows it. Wall Street knows it. CEOs won’t say it on TV, but they’re saying it in private calls and investor retreats.
Because here’s the truth: Capitalism is a coward. It needs predictability, stability, rules. Trump offers none of that. His economic “policy” is whatever floats into his brain that hour.
Tariffs?
20%! No—30%! Wait—cancelled!
No—NUKE CANADA!
Okay fine—90%! Wait—nevermind!
Crack addicts have more conviction.
And now, the most feared word in economics is being whispered again: stagflation. The worst of both worlds—soaring prices and flat growth.
No investor wants that. No billionaire wants that. No pension fund, no sovereign wealth fund, no central banker.
Not even the ones who donated to Trump.
Nobody Wants This Foreign Policy
Let me be clear. When I say “nobody,” I don’t mean the MAGA faithful buying Trump sneakers and Bibles. I mean:
The people with real money
The people running real companies
The people who actually understand global power
They see what he’s doing—gutting NATO, sucking up to Putin, floating invasions of allied nations—and they know:
This isn’t disruption. This is suicide.
Their portfolios can’t survive another Trump term. Their companies can’t operate in a world where the U.S. torchbearer sets the whole global order on fire for attention.
Forget NATO or any other bullshit. If “money” is what drives the world, nobody with “money” wants the entirety of Bretton Woods destroyed. Nobody wants war with France. Nobody wants Greeland invaded. Nobody wants Canada invaded.
Nobody wants any of this shit. Full stop.
They’re not saying it publicly.
But privately?
They’re saying, “What the fuck are we going to do?”
And whatever the answer is—“more Trump” isn’t it. I can promise you.
Nobody Likes Trumpian Immigration Either
Yes, people want the border managed. Yes, they want rules.
But they don’t want:
Crying black mothers mocked in memes
Turkish students dragged off U.S. streets
Town halls turned into armed propaganda shows
Even conservative voters are choking on the cruelty. They’re showing up to town halls mad, yelling at their Congressman, who parrots talking points. It’s not law and order. It’s state-sponsored sadism.
And it’s turning the stomach of the very suburban moderates the GOP needs to survive.
The Only Path to a “Victory” Is Fraud
Let’s talk about the myth of the stolen election.
No—Musk didn’t rig 2024 No—Zuckerberg didn’t install Biden.
The truth is simple. People voted against insanity in 2020. People voted for disruption in 2024.
But next time? If Trump wins again—it won’t be clean.
Because he’s not winning on merit. He’s not winning on policy. He’s not winning with moderates.
The GOP is bleeding approval faster than it can print new flags. Republicans heading into the midterms look like pigs on a conveyor belt to a slaughterhouse.
If Trump “wins,” it will be rigged. Full stop.
Through voter purges, disqualified ballots, intimidation, chaos, disinfo, refusal to concede—and, eventually, the courts rubber-stamping it all.
Because his approval ratings? They’re political death.
Nobody comes back from that.
So No—There Will Be No Third Term
Because the people who matter don’t want it. Because the economy can’t survive it. Because the party can’t deliver it. Because Trump himself is too unstable to build anything that lasts.
There will be no third term.
But that’s not the point.
The Regime Is Already Transforming America
This is what people still don’t get:
He doesn’t need a third term. He needs no one to stop him now.
He’ll fire the Fed chair. He’ll crash the banking system. He’ll turn the DOJ into his personal police force. He’ll eliminate every agency that isn’t loyal. He’ll weaponize the IRS, the EPA, the SEC—not to enforce laws, but to punish enemies.
And when someone asks, “Can he do that?” The answer will be:“He already did.”
I’m Not Worried About a Third Term Anymore
I used to be.
I used to think the system would finally break if Trump stayed in power past 2028.
But I was wrong.
It’s breaking now.
The Constitution doesn’t enforce itself. The courts are already compromised.
Congress is neutered. The opposition is terrified of its own shadow. The third term won’t happen because there won’t be anything left to govern by then.
I’m not worried about a third term. I’m worried about surviving the second.
You Are Not Crazy
If you feel like you’re watching something collapse in slow motion—
You are.
If you feel like your vote, your voice, your rights are fading—they are. If you feel like this ends in exile or silence—it might.
But you're not alone.
And you're not wrong.
You’re just early.
Being awake is a curse in and of itself.
My call to you is, “And what are you prepared to do?”

Post Script:
The greatest achievement of the American century erased by micrometeorites and solar erosion. Not next year. Not in our lifetime. But someday. Somewhere far ahead, long after we’re gone, the last trace of human presence on the Moon will vanish.
Even that will fade.
Somewhere further still, the Earth itself will be consumed by the Sun. Our cities. Our languages. Our names. Gone.
Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Pete Conrad, Alan Bean, Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, David Scott, James Irwin. The men who walked on another world—their footprints will dissolve into dust as if they never existed.
It’s a haunting image.
But the more haunting one may be fictional: The Liberty Bell, melted into a Swastika—a moment from The Man in the High Castle. A symbol of freedom, erased and repurposed into tyranny.
And now, I fear both are happening. Not in some distant future. Not in fiction.
But here. And now. Our history and our freedom are being erased. Not slowly. Not symbolically. But actively, and in real time.
It’s smothering.
I never thought either would happen separately, let alone simultaneously.
Perhaps I’m biased because of my nationalism, but I never foresaw this happening.
I think your fears are justified, your analysis sound.
The only positive. Perhaps 'the people with money' will take him out sooner rather than later. Just at the point they think he's destroyed enough, given them enough control, and not quite destroyed what they value and need.
Although, put that way, is it a positive for everyone else?
I have diversified assets, virtually no debt, buy very little, am very frugal, and have a tiny bill footprint. So in other words, a consumer that capitalism hates. Good luck to all of you, the 97%, that aren’t the same position. You need to dramatically shrink your lifestyle spending and eliminate debt. Cut up your credit cards, stop buying stuff. Hunker down. We’re about to experience the Great Depression 2.0, which the regime is fomenting.
