About twelve hours ago, this dropped. I just saw it:
Didn’t see it right away because:
One— I was busy writing things that matter.
Two— I’m not on the Goebbelian fever dream that is Truth Social.
But let’s sit with this for a second:
The President of the United States put this out for publication.
The sitting President.
Noodle that for a moment.
Noodle that, and then tell me we’re not just a few years away from Bellamy Salutes and people being shot in the street like I described in today’s article.
This is where we are now.
The so-called leader of the free world is selling a vision of occupied land turned into a gambling paradise—casinos, cruise ships, luxury hotels—built on the graves of the people he helped slaughter.
This isn’t just tone-deaf. It’s not just dystopian. It’s deliberate.
It’s the kind of psychotic, cartoon-villain shit you’d expect from a fascist regime trying to rewrite history in real time. It’s not enough to bomb Gaza into dust; now they have to sell the fantasy that it was always meant to be an oceanfront Vegas.
This is the next stage: They don’t even bother justifying the horror. They just build over it and move on.
And if you think that mindset stops at Gaza, you haven’t been paying attention.
This happens when a man with no ideology, plan, or moral compass is surrounded by people who do.
Trump didn’t dream up some grand vision of Gaza as a neon-lit casino dystopia. Someone fed it to him, and he posted it because it looked cool. That’s how he operates—reactively, transactionally, without considering consequences.
But that doesn’t make it less dangerous. It makes it more dangerous.
Because while Trump is playing fantasy real estate mogul, the people whispering in his ear do have a plan.
And they’re not just rewriting Gaza’s future in AI-generated neon—they’re rewriting the rule of law in real time.
Look at what happened today (and the day is far from over):
Trump signed an executive order targeting the lawyers at Covington & Burling because they dared to provide legal counsel to Jack Smith.
He revoked their security clearances.
He ordered federal agencies to sever ties with them.
Why?
Not because they broke the law.
Not because they posed any threat.
But because they defended someone Trump sees as his enemy.
This isn’t just petty revenge. This is a warning shot.
It’s a message straight out of every authoritarian crackdown in history:
Defend the wrong person, and we will destroy you.
Again—something I wrote about this morning.
It was fiction this morning.
It was fact by the afternoon.
Think about that.
The President of the United States is actively punishing a law firm for doing its job.
He’s making an example of them.
A shot across the bow to warn off any other lawyers who might consider standing against him.
That’s not democracy. That’s consolidation of power.
So no, Trump doesn’t have a plan. But the people guiding him do.
They’re pushing him toward using the full weight of government to punish enemies, reward loyalists, and erase inconvenient truths—whether that’s bulldozing Gaza’s history or dismantling the legal profession’s independence.
And the scariest part?
It could be working.
#changemymind
No seriously. I’d really like someone to.
It’s a good thing I’m wearing long pants, boys, for I swear I can faintly hear the band playing “Nearer, My God, to Thee.”

Just for a moment think deeper on this. Who, exactly was this made for? Not the Palestinians, they’ll never see it. Almost all don’t speak the English language. Even for that small amount that does speak English, fewer still will be on Truth Social.
So, since we know it’s not made to sway the people his “policies” will affect, its target audience has to be closer to home right?
Now… let’s ask ourselves WHY his social media team would spend time developing something so gross.
The answer to that just as disgusting too.
It’s straight out of any propaganda playbook ever written or observed.
He is simultaneously normalizing the ethic cleansing and colonization of the Gaza Strip, signaling talking points for his ignorant base, and advertising to prospective investors/future customers.
I don’t have a right to go much further on this topic. I am not a historian. I am not Palestinian or Jewish. I’m not directly involved or knowledgeable enough to continue.
What I can say- I am a human being with fully functioning empathy and reasonable intelligence. Anyone who fits into that category should be beyond outraged.
This man should never have been allowed to accumulate power in any form.
Yes I very much believe there are smarter minds than him behind him feeding these ideas to him. But he's the only one who's been able to create this mystique. It hasn't worked for anyone else. And it doesn't even work for him. His approval ratings have already dropped below the point of his core maga base support.
The more he shows us in real time what it's actually like to live under a dictator, the more people will turn against him.
It's horrible watching innocent people get caught in the cross fire but I don't believe that his cabinet plans to go down with him. They'll still be evil and liars but they want to have careers beyond him.
Sooner or later they'll get backed into a corner like Rudy Giuliani. Michael Cohen. Jeffrey Epstein. I'm hoping for the Insurrection Act as Trump's approval ratings continue to plummet.
It's miserable to watch the process. And Dems still gotta get their shit together. We have to stay soo soooo organized and engaged in ways they haven't seen since the Civil rights movement.
Cuz we won't be out of the Woods until we overturn citizens united, get govt real content moderation tools to stop disinformation on media and social media, and fix our election process.
Which is going to take getting the public to finally see that the billionaires behind the politicians were the real threat all along.
Our country has broken up monopolies before. Eradicated poverty before. There were no starving children here from the 1950s to the 1990s. The labor unions fought for 50 years to get us 8 hour work days and unemployment benefits and so much more.
We can do that again. People in China have rights. We can expand ours again too.
